HOLY CRAP LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, after doing research for literally MONTHS- tonight, we booked our Honeymoon!!! We have been working with Irene Scrofani from Liberty Travel in Commack since the very beginning. I compared her pricing to TONS of other TA's and she was the cheapest by far!! She is also really helpful and very patient. She gave me registry cards for my Shower invites so that people can call her directly or go on her website to pay part of our HM as my gift!! Then, they get a gift card to give me at the Shower in their envelope to me! I love that!!!
We booked a SIXTEEN NIGHT trip to San Diego, Oahu, Kauai and then Maui. Here's the itinerary:
San Diego: 3 night stay at the Marriott Courtyard located in historic 'Old Town' or 'GasLamp Quater' which is similar to Y-Bor City in Florida if anyone has ever been. There are tons of shops and things to do during the day- gorgeous beaches and it's steps from EVERYTHING... Nothing is too far, there's public transportation to get around, etc. The beaches are beautiful and then there's TONS of nightlife-- everyone just walks from nightclub to nightclub in the evening and it's all open-air and outdoor! She said it's gorgeous, very clean and pretty. There are over 100 nightclubs/lounges/bars and restaurants in this small little mini-city! It's also about five minutes from the San Diego Zoo and about 10-15 minutes from SeaWorld.
HOTEL IN SAN DIEGO Then we fly to Oahu (Honolulu) for a 3 night stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in their 'VIP Tower'. We used our upgrade here to stay in a really nice room in a very exclusive tower that has a great location. Waikiki Beach is supposed to be the most beautiful beach in Hawaii and the City life is very similar to Manhattan-- only set on a gorgeous white sand beach! The Hotel itself has tons of pools, shops, etc... Very pretty!!
HOTEL ON OAHU (HONOLULU-WAIKIKI BEACH) Then we fly to Kauai (the relaxation part of our trip after two 'touristy' stops with lots of sightseeing we can take some time in Kauai for R&R)... We will be staying here for 3 nights also at the Grand Hyatt in a Garden Suite with a nice Balcony! We are very excited about this because the beach is pretty, the pools are so nice and we can just RELAX and re-charge!! There's also a lot of 'nature' things to see and a Wildlife Preserve we want to check out. Also, horseback riding on the beach!!
HOTEL IN KAUAI Then, the big Kahuna of our trip: MAUI

Maui has the best of both worlds: relaxing if you want and then nightlife also!! Who could ask for more?! We will be staying there for SEVEN nights on the last leg of our HM!!! We are SO excited and we will be staying at the GORGEOUS Grand Wailea Resort (I agonized over this decision between the Four Seasons, The Fairmont and this property-- but once I saw that Oprah stayed at the Wailea and that it is owned by the same people that own the Waldorf- I was like yeah, that's the place!! lol)... The beaches, the pools, the Spa and then everything there is to do on Maui... We cannot wait!!! We might even take a day trip over the Volcano National Park on the Big Island while we are there! We used our biggest upgrades here- We have the concierge status which allows us to have breakfast daily, served to our room if we want, champagne and wine with each meal (lunch and dinner) and then a bunch of other specialty services. We also got a prime ocean front deluxe suite!!! We are so psyched!
THE BIG ONE... MAUI!!! Watch out Oprah!! lol Plus, Irene put us down as Honeymooners and worked in special deals at each place we go so she said we could very well get bumped up at each place we stay!! We have rental cars at every place besides Oahu and San Diego b/c they are not needed there. This includes transfers and all of that stuff too!
So: 3 nights San Diego
3 nights Oahu (Honolulu)
3 nights Kauai
7 nights Maui
And then, after all of that.... No more vaca's for us for a LONG, LONG time b/c Vinny will be in Medical School FULL TIME
