I need some help with choosing a really nice all inclusive resort in Punta Cana, DR. I would really like to go to Turks and Caicos but that is out of our budget. Since neither one of us have been to DR and I have always wanted to go. We are leaning towards going there for our honeymoon. For those who have been or know people who have been there can you recommend any really nice all inclusive resorts?
Also if you have worked with a good travel agent can you recommend them?

LIF's Travel board is a GREAT spot for vacation advice. Everyone is always posting really helpful reviews and answering each other's questions. I definitely suggest checking it out!
As for the pool at Excellence, it was NEVER crowded. I mean, we kinda plan our vacations around times when we think they will be less crowded anyway, but I couldn't believe how empty the place was! The only thing I ever had a hard time finding was floaties and not because there weren't enough of them, but the few guests hoarded them for some reason. It was bizarre! It was definitely more crowded by the swim up bar, but you don't necessarily need to hang out there. We stayed closer to our room and the waiters were fantastic- they'd come by and deliver drinks and even PIZZA to you right in the pool.
Jamaica was just a wonderful place to visit- it was soooo laid back and everyone was so nice. Even the water was so calm and warm- it was like stepping into a bath. I could honestly live there. Excellence has been working on a Jamaica location and that would just be PERFECT- all the comforts of my fave resort combined with my favorite place. They can't open that place up fast enough!
