Honeymoon DR

I need some help with choosing a really nice all inclusive resort in Punta Cana, DR. I would really like to go to Turks and Caicos but that is out of our budget. Since neither one of us have been to DR and I have always wanted to go. We are leaning towards going there for our honeymoon. For those who have been or know people who have been there can you recommend any really nice all inclusive resorts?

Also if you have worked with a good travel agent can you recommend them?

Iberostar has really nice resorts. I went to DR 3 times and it was nice there. Just make sure you look at the food at the resorts. A lot of time the resorts were pretty but we thought that the food was disgusting. Which is true of many all-inclusives.

I wouldn't recommend the Majestic Colonial. I had a bad experience there, food wise, and had food poisoning.

If you want a travel agency that you can physically go to Liberty Travel works. I love my travel agent but I usually just deal with her via phone or email. If you want, send me an FM and I'll give you her number & email.

We used Liberty Travel and we are going to Punta Cana for our honeymoon as well. We booked at the Majestic Excellence. From what our agent says it's a 4 1/2 star resort (hopefully). It has a lot of amenities and you pay for nothing once you are there except any excursions you may want to do. Tips and drinks are all included in the price.

i went to the one in Punta Cana for vacation,,,,,AWESOME i went to excellence playa mujeres for my honeymoon.....i didnt use a travel agent just booked it on their website and contacted them for pickup at the airport...it was an extra 100...FM if you want more info

Punta Cana!!! Paradisus Palma Real Resort is amazing! We went there in October and had such a great time. they also have another which is just called Paradisus. Its just a downgrade but amazing as well. Both are all inclusive. However, in the the Palma real horseback riding and scuba diving is included. Even the classes for the scuba. You cant go wrong...Good luck!

Expedia gave us the best price and they even had their rep waiting for us at the airport. We went through Liberty travel once before which were great but later learned they were more expensive...

We just stayed at Excellence Punta Cana for our 2 year anniversary. By far the nicest all inclusive resort we've ever stayed at! I did a little review on the place on LIF, so check it out. There's tons of photos.
