For those of you getting married in October, where are you going on your honeymoon?? I really want to go to the Bahamas, but I am starting to worry because that is hurricane season.

we are going to punta cana from oct 7 to oct 14.i am not to worried. i been away in hurricnae seasons before to the islands and nothing happened.

I'm not an October bride, but I am a September one and thta is in hurricane season as well. We are going to Punta Cana, which is in the hurricane belt. But we purchased insurance so we can cancel up to 2 hours before if we need to. I'm not worried about it.

Im not an Oct bride but we are taking our BELATED HM in Oct....we are going to Hawaii!!!
I was worried about hurricanes and all that but I told my mom (shes a TA) to just get me the ins that covers it all....just so I have no worries!

We are going to Antigua at the end of October. Hurricane season is on the wane at that time of year, so I am not worried. They tend to hit a bit further north. We booked our HM at Sandals, and they have a hurricane guarantee.

We are going to Disney it's not super exotic, but we debating between Disney and a Cruise and chose to skip the cruise because of hurricane season.

We are going to Ocho Rios and we got the travel insurance just in case...Also we are staying at Sandals and they offer a 'hurricane' guarantee..

i am going to the carribean - we booked sandals in st. lucia, which is good, because even though we are going towards the end of hurricane season (which ends nov. 30th) sandals has a hurricane guarantee which means that if a hurricane hits the island at ANY point during your stay they will book a whole new vacation for you, free!

We have the same thing.....we are headed to Sandals Dunn's River.........

We were nervous about Hurricane season so we decided to go to Europe. Also living on the east coast, we have both been to the carribean before and wanted to go somewhere different.
