I am getting married Oct 7 and have been debating on whether or not to book now or wait. I am planning on going to the Carribean eventhough it is Hurricane season. I know this is off season for traveling and the Carribean. So should I wait to see what kind of deals come up or should I book now? Any advice???

I suggest booking 4-6 prior to the wedding, no sooner. They may not have flights available..

Book now -- you'll be more limited with hotel choices and room categories otherwise.
Also, if you have your heart set on the Carribbean, I'd definately go with Aruba or one of the ABC islands as they are out of the hurricane belt. I'm also going on my HM durring Hurr. Season and researched Aruba as well as the following options:
Cabo Hawaii Tahiti

PS - if you want the Carribbean maybe you should look into a cruise. Cruise ships can always change itineraries at the last minute to steer clear of a storm.

You are so right about the flights selling out. I better get my *** moving, lol. I really want to avoid ever going on a cruise again, lol, but that was a great suggestion about them changing itinerary at the last minute. Thanks girls!

I would book now. There are always promotions going on. After booking your trip, I will call your TA every week and ask about promos. If there is one the TA should give it to you.
This happened to me I booked a trip for $7400 and I called one week to find out if there were any specials and there happened to be one, I save $850.
