ok so i was originally going to italy on my HM. we were going to visit FHs fam and then go and do our own thing. but we realized we can do italy whenever we wqnt because we will always have a place to stay. so we decided to look for another place to go. someplace exotic that we will only go once. does anyone have any ideas? so far i thought of hawaii or tahiti. i'll take any kind of input. thanks!!

LOL well FH and i are doing the opposite, for months we had said we're doing Tahiti but now we're doing italian and french riviera

I think we are going to Sandals Regency in St. Lucia. Jus tthink, it is all inclusive, so you never have to pay for a meal. There are three sandals on the island and you have free tranfers between each and can use all the restaurants at each. Depending on how long you stay, you may never go to the same restaurant twice for dinner.
Also, with the money we know we aren't going to spend on meals and drinks once we got there, we are upgrading our room to an oceanview suite with your own private plunge pool.

I sound like a friggin commercial, but that is what I had to do to change FH's mind from Tahiti to St. Lucia because I am not a fan of flying and Tahiti is way too far for me.

There are alot of political issues right now in Fiji and its not the safest place., but its cheap because of it!

I would recommend Tahiti of course, Greece.

But for exotic why dont you look into south america., Brazil, or Costa Rica (which has become very touristy)

Austrailia is a great choice as well.

I was having the same problem i think a honeymoon is supposed to be a place where you only have the opportunity to go once in a lifetime. So i am thinking either Tahiti or Hawaii. I just want to be on a beach somewhere

We were thinking that too. But then we decided that since we never splurge on the room, we should do it on our honeymoon. We figure it is the trip we will spend the most time in the room, if you know what I mean, lol And splurging on a room seemed to be cheaper in St. Lucia than in HAwaii or Tahiti. Plus, if we got a suite in hawaii or tahiti, I think we would have to purify some ocean water and hunt for our own fish for dinner because we would be out of money!! I guess it definitely depends on your budget though.

OMG you are so right! As long as there is a beach and a Caribbean island that i have not been to I will be happy!

Exotic huh? What about Thailand? I heard its beautiful and the currency is in your favor. Also, if you check into Brazil, check out the Nannai Beach Resort. I recommended this to a couple brides on here and I know one actually booked it! (Sorry, forgot who exactly ) HTH!
