Honeymoon help!!!!

Please help me. Me and my FH are so undecided about the honeymoon. At first we were thinking exotic, like Bora Bora/ Moorea, but than that got too expensive so we thought about Hawaii. Well after much thought, FH doesn't really want to take the long flight. Ok so that puts us in the Caribbean.

After MUCH research I narrowed it down to Nevis (Four Seasons), St. Martin (La Semana), or Aruba (Hyatt). We were leaning towards Aruba, and we want to go away for ten days, but after talking to a travel agent, she suggested that 10 days in Aruba will get boring! I thought Aruba was a good choice because their is so much to do there (as opposed to an island like Nevis). I am so confused!!! Can someone help me? Is 10 days in Aruba too much? Would I be better off on another island? Thanks!

I am considering Aruba too. The Hyatt there is GORGEOUS! However, a friend of mine went on her HM a few years ago to Aruba. And they got bored. They were there over a week. Pretty sure it was 10 days.

I think it depends on the two of you. My FH & I can stay on the beach for a month and won't get bored!

How long is everyone staying in Aruba? Can someone suggest another island to go to along with aruba? Say I wanted to go to Aruba for a week and then spend a few nights on another island - are their any flights that connect aruba to another caribbean island?

Gee I'm not sure. Sorry. I don't know anything about the Carribean. St. Lucia maybe???

Oh, we will only be going for 7 or 8 days. FH has a MEAN job!

I believe that Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao are near each other.

My FI and I are going to Aruba for 10 days.. We're staying at the Raddison! :) You can take a flight to Curacao from there...we had thought of that also, but our travel agent had told us that it is very similar to Aruba, but there is less to do there. We figured it wasn't worth it to get all packed up again & take the flight...we would lose some time then. Hope that helped! Good luck!

I've been to Aruba and stayed for 7 days. It was very relaxing. Aruba is a very small island and if you are the type of person that needs constant action- you may get bored. However, while I was there I went on the booze cruise, on a 3 hour horse back riding tour and hung out in the casinos every night. If you aren't a casino person- it does get old. I went with the girls and we met up with a US navy ship (before I was engaged of course) and we hung out w/ the sailors every night too. so nightlife was fun for us.
I'm going to Zihuatanejo, Mexico. It is on the pacific coast of Mexico on approx 150 miles North of Acapulco. I dont' know if it's any more exciting than Aruba- but maybe you should check it out- We are going b/c it's close & affordable.
