Okay. . .so my fiance and I finally have something that we completely DISAGREE on: where and what we want to do for our honeymoon. He wants to do a two week cross-country trip, which does sound cool, but following a wedding, I just want to stay in one (or two ) places so that we can RELAX. He's not a beach person, but I've been trying to explain to him that you can go to a resort on the beach without doing the whole beach thing. What would be a decent compromise?

Re: Honeymoon help!!!
yeah those are two extreme differences. There has to be a middle ground for the two of you. DH also hates the beach and i am not too crazy about it, i like to go to get a tan but i get bored so quickly and within an hour I cant lay anymore and have to do something. Bc of this we knew we wouldnt do any islands or all beach places. We did spain and monaco, which was perfect for us two bc it was exactly what we wanted. We both wanted good nightlife, and lots of non beach activities. But also were able to just relax at the same time.
Seems like he wants something a bit more adventurous, and you want a beach. How about maybe a place like Puerto Rico, where you can do lots of activities but do have that beach atmosphere, or a place like costa rica. Theres also europe if thats something he would be more interested in. Or parts of Hawaii you do have more to do and have the beach type honeymoon too
