so budget bride here, we didnt set aside too much money (about 4-5k) for honey moon, and we didnt even get passports yet. with all the expenses and getting our own place, we figure we'll do something small and then go away next summer.
where can i go without a passport and still enjoy 4-5 nights with FH????

cape may?

miami?

vegas?

los angeles?

napa valley?

really depends on what you're looking for. not sure if they're required, but you can look into cruises that only have US destinations as well.

With that budget and amount of days, you should totally check out St. Lucia Sandals Grande. That's where we're going and it's AMAZING!!!

EDIT: I might need to take that back because not sure if you need a passport :(

ETA: just saw you don't have a passort. They can usually rush these for you.

Otherwise you can go to:

Hawaii

Puerto Rico

USVI

Guam

See if you can get a passport. Our budget is 5K and it's totally doable for an all inclusive 7night trip. We found that excellence resorts in mexico gave you much more for the money than sandals.

To get a passport is really not that big of a hassle or $$ (at least when comparing it to the advantage of having one).

However, if you don't want to do a passport and you have a budget of about 4-5K, you can just get a 'passport card' (I am not sure if that is the right wording). But a friend of mine did that. It is cheaper and takes less time...they went on a cruise that stopped at a few countries.
