Honeymoon Help

Hello Ladies.......
FH and I have started talking about our honeymoon. We are looking at going to an all-inclusive resort.
The ones we have talked about so far are: Sandals and Atlantis.

We are looking to hear any advice!!

TIA

I haven't stayed at either, but the Sandals in St. Lucia is beautiful!!!!!

Atlantis is beautiful and their 'all inclusive' package is nice and the food is to die for, but when I went they didn't include drinks so that runs the bill up... also its really really big and depending on when you go it could be crowded and you may need to fight for seats.

i love atlantis, but I'm not sure if i'd go for my HM because of that.

Atlantis is gorgeous, but I, personally, wouldn't want to go there for my HM. It's so built up that it loses the island feel (feels more like Vegas).

You should look at Excellence and Secrets resorts; They're absolutely perfect for a HM.

Re: Honeymoon Help

We JUST got home from Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. We LOVED the resort and the island. LOVED it. We had a suite on the Sunset Bluff with butler service which I HIGHLY recommend, it made our vacation. But overall the room was awesome, the view was breathtaking, the food was great, strong, unlimited drinks. The only thing I have mixed reviews about are excursions. I'd be happy to provide more details.

I booked Sandals Antigua. I don't see how I could possibly have a bad time. Paradise, all inclusive and butler service =

This!! I LOVE Atlantis, its beautiful, but its also very crowded. Sometimes you have to search for chairs on the beach, they are usually all claimed pretty early in the morning. The Atlantis side (Beach, Coral, Royal) towers area always busy, but the timeshare side Harborside, is always quiet. If you are booking the dining package with your room to get the all-inclusive type of stay, there are some exclusions, such as alcoholic beverages and bottled water, which can get expensive. But its definitely worth it especially if you dine at the Bahamian Club which dinner alone will cost you more than yours and FH dining plan cost for one day. If you are looking at relaxation on the beach and adult only romance, you may want to look at other resorts. The beach is nice, but IMO, the vendors can be pushy, and there are a lot of them. But if you are looking for Honeymoon that has a lot of dining options, night life on resort, and many things to do beach, pool, water park, water sports, casino, swimming with dolphins, then Atlantis maybe right for you. It all depends what you want out of your Honeymoon, and feel free to FM if you want anymore info! HTH!
