Hi all, So my future hubby and I are getting married September 2015. we are planning on going to an island for our honeymoon but September is hurricane season so I was wondering if there are any islands that are safe ? also , September brides where are you going on your honeymoon?
Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire and Trinidad & Tobago are all pretty far south and the risk of hurricanes on those islands is quite low. If you're looking for a travel agent, Melissa from tripguy specializes in Caribbean honeymoons and shes great to work with! Quite a few ladies, myself included have used her to book our honeymoons, and shes a fellow LIweddings bride. :)

Im going to sandals antigua, and booked with melissa as well she is fantastic! St. Lucia is also far enough south so huirricanes wont be an issue. Antigua is a little closer north but we booked the insurance just in case.
Aruba is amazing, and it's outside of the hurricane zone. We went there last august and has the best time ever.
aruba is a good choice... they say the 'ABC' islands are good in sept-november (aruba, bonaire, curacao)
Grenada is outside of the hurricane belt too.
