We have decided on Costa Rica...I cant FIND a travel agent that works with any hotels there...any ideas/recomendations PLEASE?
And anyone who can lead me to a thread with hotel ideas is a saint...I've been searching for two days!

Go to Liberty travel's website. www.libertytravel.com
There should be a link for finding a specialist. Call those people.
If you don;t find one that way I can check with my accounts for you and see who is one.
I work for a Cruise line.

I just checked it out. No specialist area on their site for COSTA RICA....
Where do you live? I can probably suggest an office and you can call around and ask if they know anyone that is a specialist.

There is a LIberty right there in Lindenhurst. Actually it is one of the best liberties on the island. Check them out, I am sure they are open today. GIve them a call and ask if they have someone who is a Specialist on Costa Rica...
No Problem. ALSO, I heard the Paradisus Hotel there is WONDERFUL!! my sister went to the Paradisus in the DR and she LOVED IT!!!
ALSO, Liberty hotel ratings are true to form. You souldn't have a problem/
I just looked at that hotel..AMAZING! But...completly out of our league moneywise

I would call tricia townsend with protravel in NYC. She is rated one of the top travel agents my ny metro and conde nast, etc. She is great for more complicated and exotic trips. She will even give you the name of restaurants to eat at. You don't need to go to the city, I did it all by the phone. I also changed my mind a million times and she re-priced things a ton of times and never complained. She was really great and I would have never chosen my hm spot if it was not for her.
