Honeymoon HELPPPPPPPP

FH and I have discussed the following:

-Hawaii (5 couples of our friends have gone)

-St. Lucia (6 couples of our friends have gone/are going)

-Aruba (don't feel like it's where we want to go for our HM, more like maybe an anniversary destination)

-Greece/Europe (apparently cold there in November)

- Tahiti/Bora Bora (don't think we really want to swing at least $15k for the places we want to stay there and FH isn't the biggest fan of long flights)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

I never thought I would consider this but I AM OBSESSED WITH SECRETS MAROMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We would upgrade everything to the max and stay anywhere between 10-14 days??? What do you ladies think???? I need helppppppp lol

Why not....it looks amazing and I'm sure you guys would have a blast.

I would def. go for it.

That's gorgeous!!! I say definately go for it - especially if you can upgrade and stay there for such a long time!

If you're going in November to your HM I definately wouldn't recommend Greece - it will be pretty close to how the weather is here.

And of course the other option is St. Lucia but that's only because I'm going there also so I'm a bit bias

That place looks nice...and definitely would be worth the 10-14 days and all the upgrades..

What about Cabo San Lucas??

Secrets Maroma is gorgeous!!! I know a girl who went there on her Hm and absolutely loved it!!!! They have all the luxuries without the super crazy expense, I say go for it!!!

No not yet, only because its still to far in advance But I am between Secrets Maroma and Excellence Playa Mujeres. I wish I could do it already!!

Soooooo I'm going to be the buzz kill, but only because I love you and want to inform you about what I have heard. I saw this place and was so intrigued by how beautiful it was and the cheap cost, but a travel agent that I was talking to at the time(back in June) was VERY adamant about NO SECRETS. She didn't really go tooooo into it, but said that people have gotten very sick and that she wanted me to ENJOY our honeymoon. I also have heard from others that it is false advertisement. Who the hell knows... but I just wanted to let you know just in case.

She had suggested Paradisus instead which I have heard great things about.

Booooo! That is so crazy! It is rated like number 2 out of 185 hotels in the area!!! I have actually been to Secrets Capri and it was nothing short of amazing!!!! Also, Maroma is known to be one of the nicest beaches in Mexico. I can't believe your TA would say that stuff!!!

Tony from Bravura and his wife Christy Ann were raving to us about how amazing Secrets Maroma was - they went there on their HM too

My parents have also been to Secrets Silversands and they said its the same service and food as Secrets Capri. They have been to Excellence Playa Mujeres also and also rave about that too so those were our two choices if we decided on Mexico

I've been to the Paradisus in both Puerto Rico and Cancun and they were packed with children.

10er crashing. We went to Secrets Maroma on our honeymoon and it was unbelievable ! Check out my wedding review for all my comments and pictures.
PS: The food was wonderful and there were no problems with illness.
