Honeymoon in Aruba

We are going to Aruba for our honeymoon for 10 nights. I have been searching different hotels that offer all inclusive deals. I am really torn after reading reviews. A lot of complaints about things being stolen, bad food ( with the all inclusive), etc.

Has anyone ever been or planning on going there for their honeymoon. Let me know your thoughts and where you are staying.

I don't remember where she stayed but my friend honeymoon'd there and they LOOOOOVED it.

I am going there for my honeymoon in october. We chose Aruba because it is hurricane season and the travel agent said that Aruba is below the hurricane belt. We are staying at the Hyatt. Everyone we spoke to who has been there said that we HAD to stay there. We read the reviews and heard some really nice things. We were looking at the Bucuti but the only problem with this one was that it was too secluded. We wanted excitment and fun sow e chose the Hyatt because it even has its own casino.

We just booked our honeymoon and we are staying at the Occidental for part of the trip and Marriott for the other part. I have heard great things about the Occidental and Radisson from friends.

sorry to crash! we went to aruba on our HM and stayed at the bucuti beach resort. it is NOT all inclusive and it is off of the main strip a little but it is amazing. there are soooo many really great restaurants in aruba that you'll want to go to so an all inclusive may not pay off. also, not sure what you are looking for in a hotel, but we wanted something a little more secluded and quiet so we went with bucuti. they actually urge people NOT to bring their children to the resort b/c its meant more for couples and relaxation. i must say, it was absolutely perfect. we stayed in a penthouse suite that was very reasonably priced and gorgeous! there are pics in my review if you want to take a peek. :) if you have any questions, feel free to FM! good luck and have fun! aruba is beautiful!

I would NOT do an all inclusive in Aruba. Its safe to leave the resorts and the restaurants there are AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGG! You will NOT want to be stuck only at your hotel.

I stayed at the Radison and it was SICKKKK! Amazing views, right on the beach and the hotel grounds are gorgeous gardens! BEST vaca FH and I ever took!

I am going there in Sept for my honeymoon staying at the rui and it cost us $6000 for 10 days

I am going to Aruba in October for my honeymoon and we are staying at Bucuti. FH has been there before, and he said that because there are so many restaurants that are amazing, all inclusive was not an option! Aruba is definitely a place where you can leave the resort and sight see, so I would definitely try to look into all your options, because you may find that you want to go to all the different restaurants!

We're going in October and are staying at the Hyatt and we were advised by many people NOT to do all inclusive because of all the amazing restaurants there. I hope we made the right decision!

We're staying at the Riu Palace. It's an AI resort, but we know we're going to check out most of the restaurants in the area. We didn't mind because just the alcohol itself will pay off for the all inclusive for us.

I didn't honeymoon there but I got engaged there. We stayed at the Renaissance Ocean Suites in Aruba and it was great! Renaissance has a private island that you can take a boat to if you're staying at the hotel. Aruba itself is beautiful and we didn't have any problems with crime. Definitely go! I would recommend not doing all inclusive tho since there's so many great restaurants to eat at on the island.
