Honeymoon in August ???

that is a big trip! I hear italy closes down in August!? its also very expensive nowadays. If u go I think definitely go with a tour or cruise Mediterranean with tour - see everything if you go! but think about it - if you want this for your honeymoon? planning the wedding is nuts enough. i never had time to even think about the honeymoon and all of a sudden i was there. a trip to italy/europe is a big deal and takes lots of planning!! do u want that all at the same time as the wedding!? if so, i recommend def. using a travel agency. good luck!
we went to aruba - i wanted something bigger and once in a lifetime like italy too but it was not good timing. aruba had perfect weather in august and its out of the hurricane belt. it was nothing but relaxing whereas italy is tons of walking and walking and walking! it depends what ya into!!

august is italy's vacation month so a lot of store close down. i believe that how it is in a lot of europe at that time!
