Honeymoon in GreeceHi Everyone,

Hi Everyone,
I'd like some advice. I'm planning to go to Greece (10-12 days) for my honeymoon, and I'd like to hear from past brides that also honeymooned in Greece a few things
-where exactly did you visit
- did you book it on your own or through a travel agent
-specifics such as what hotels you recommend; what travel agent you went to, etc.
- did you take a ferry to the islands or took a flight
-tips, advice, things to avoid

Any advice would be most appreciated. I'm a well-traveled person, but for some reason I'm feeling quite overwhelmed about planning this trip to Greece and do welcome your help.

Also.. bring comfy shoes no heels needed!! Very hilly roads.

Tipping is not expected there. Most restaurants charge a service fee. Don't need to tip taxis. You can tip bellmen if they are carrying alot of your luggage.

Go to Nammos restaurant in Psarou Beach, Mykonos.. THE BEST! So romantic.. try the 3 flavored chocolate mousse!

FH and I just returned from a 12 day trip to Greece.. We went to Mykonos, Santorini, Crete and Athens.

I would definately look into Gate 1 travel. It was super reasonable, and they offered great packages.

Everything was paid for except for our meals, and any excursions that we wanted (which were also reasonably priced - and fun!)

We're doing a cruise and it goes to several Greek islands. I'm extremely overwhelmed as well and don't know where to begin with planning.

We're going in May almost two months after the wedding. Already booked so i'm really excited. Can't wait to go!!!!

May was a great time to go! We went from 5/14-5/26.. great weather for tanning and not overly crowded yet!

Yay!!!! That's what I was hoping. I heard the tourist seaon starts sometime in June, We needed to be home the end of May for a wedding so we decided to go May 3-10 for the cruise

Our cruise starts in Venice im hoping we'll find good prices for hotels since we're planning on leaving 2-3 days earlier t get used to the time difference.
