Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
I would suggest just staying on the two islands....you get more of a chance that way to get a feel for Hawaiian culture and daily life. Also cruise ships don't always have so much privacy.

I love cruising, HOWEVER, for our honeymoon we decided it would be better to be on our own time. With the cruise you have to do everything according to there schedule. On the flip side if you are looking to save money the cruise might be worth it. HTH

I personally think it is better to do two islands on your own this way everything can be done on your own time and you dont have a set time limit at each island. I think you will get to see more of Hawaii this way. We went to Maui and Kauai and loved both.

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
a travel agent who is an LIW vendor on here actually suggested to me to do a cruise because this way you can see multiple islands and not have to worry about packing/unpacking your stuff and is more convenient. i am in the same boat as you as i'm either going to do this or 2 islands so i guess i will see what FH prefers when it comes down to booking!
Good luck!

I think 2 islands. Cruises are great but not as relaxing...and I think you'll want to be relaxed in Hawaii. You'll want to be on your own time schedule - not that of the ship's.

I would do the 2 islands. There is so much to see and do on the Hawaiian islands and you'll want to do it as leisurely as possible, not on a ship's schedule.

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
I think staying at the islands is better than doing the cruise. The reason I didn't do a cruise is because they have such a set schedule, so you'd have to get up at like 8am to go see stuff and be back like 6pm. I like to sleep in, so I would've been screwed if I did that.
If you do choose to do a cruise so you can visit more islands, you can also then maybe pick an island to stay at for more days at a hotel after the cruise is over, or before the cruise starts.

Re: Honeymoon in Hawaii
I agree with everyone here. We went to Hawaii and did 3 islands. You want your privacy, you want to do things on your own timetable, and most of all you want to have full access to everything Hawaii has to offer....it's so beautiful there!!!! I want to go baaaaaack lol!!!
