Honeymoon in Hawaii?

Has anyone planned their honeymoon in hawaii? Any tips/suggestions? TIA

Hawaii is so so beautiful. We went a few years ago and are going back for our HM
Do you know what island(s) you want to go to?

Honeymoon in Hawaii?

I didn't go on my honeymoon there but I was there in August and it was absolutely beautiful! I stayed at the Hyatt on both Maui and Kauai and they were unbelievable. I've mentioned this to anyone I've heard of thinking to go there - Hyatt has a deal where if you open a credit card with them, you receive two free nights at any Hyatt hotel in the world, which saves you a nice bit of money since the hotels are about $400 a night.

As far as suggestions, EVERYTHING is ridiculously expensive, so whatever you can pay for in advanced - I would. Hyatt in Maui has parasailing right in front of the hotel and a Luau that is amazing! They also have the Volcano sunrise as well as the Road to Hana.

Kauai is really laid back and there's not much to do there. Hope that helps - if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Honeymoon in Hawaii?

I have never been myself but I heard it's beautiful but very expensive. Also the flight is on the longer side- nobody really thinks of that. Not sure if that makes a difference to you guys but good luck! :)

Honeymoon in Hawaii?

We booked our Hawaiin honeymoon! We are going to Oahu for a week and then California for a week (Disney!). Definitely do a stop over somewhere on the way home, to adjust to the time changes!

Yeah, a stop over helps break up the trip. We might fly into San Fran on the way home and do a weekend in Napa. It's so worth the flight tho, last time we went I cried in the way to the airport I was ready to quit my job and stay there!! Lol.

We went to Hawaii back in 2010, stayed on Maui, Oahu and Kauai, and took a day trip to Lanai. FM if you have any questions. Kauai was our absolute favorite, and I would say is a 'must' for a HM.
