Re: honeymoon in Italy?
I got engaged in Italy! I've been there 3 times but never Southern Italy... like the boot area. I've been to Sicily though which is in the south but not what i think you mean. Rome is great (but only for a short time because site seeing gets overwhelming). Cinque Terra is beautiful. God I freaking love Italy and want to go back. Future second cousins-in-law live there so I'm sure I will go again! Def. go.

It's a beautiful country! I can't wait to go back. Where are you looking - I love the Amalfi Coast area.

I second the Almafi Coast, Capri and Sorrento in particular. If you decide on Italy Taormina is beautiful.

Amalfi definitely! We stayed at a hotel in Maiori that upgraded us for free to a junior suite since it was our honeymoon....Hotel club due torre!! Fantastic!

We're going to Italy for our Honeymoon as well. Sorrento is a great location to stay in and see the the sights. From there you can go to Positano, The Amalfi Coast, Pompeii. If you want to go further South, then you can go to Siciliy, Taormina. It's beautiful! Good luck, and enjoy!

Re: honeymoon in Italy?
Did you ever think about Sicily? We were there in the fall for one week and drove everywhere!!! 1100 miles later we saw about 60% of the island. It was amazing. Not as touristy as the mainland (from what I hear).
If you are interested, I recommend checking out Frommer's book on Sicily. They have tons of great stuff in there.
If you have any other questions, FM me.

My parents were born there. I love it there!! My mom is from Naples and My dad id from Avelino. I would def. visit the Alamfi coast and Pompeii!! Omg, I wanna go back lol
I would also do Rome for a short visit (i went for 3 days and it was plenty)
I am not sure of what specifics you want but I can ask my parents if you need something!
