I'm looking into Jamaica also and got prices for Couples Swept Away and Sandals. (both in Negril)
I looked at reviews on Tripadvisor and they are mixed. My friend stayed @ Sandals Negril last year and loved it. He said the food and service was really good.
Per my TA Couples offers a bit more in terms of activities whereas @ Sandals you may have to pay for. The rooms at Couples I strongly dislike and cannot see myself staying there for my HM. Because the room/decor is important I am leaning towards Sandals Negril.

Hi Girls - Check out Tensing Pen and Rockhouse Hotel in Negril. They are beautiful hotels (both different) on the cliffs. Very romantic and pretty reasonable.

Ohh I went to Jamaica for a wedding in April.
We stayed in Negril. My hotel was sooo cute and super cheap.. it was called Xtabi. The bride and groom stayed at Tensing Pen. And the father of the bride stayed at an all-inclusive resport. I can't remember if it was Couples or Sandals. Truthfully they are all somewhat the same.
Is there anything in particular you would like to know about it?
Just be careful... we were out one night and the bride's cell phone was stolen. But we had a great time there! I can't wait to go back!
