Hi all, Ok, So I'm getting married in October, and as we all know, the wether is sometimes un predictable at this time of year (sept/oct) FH and I were thinking Hawaii, but the thought of a LOOOOONG flight makes me not want to book it. FH and I had a wonderful time last year in Orlando for Halloween, and would like to end our HM there and take advantage of the oct. 31st. The problem there is the weather in the Caribbean and central America and all the beautiful islands can be very yucky!!! What to do...
Any of you have any ideas or suggestions? Help <--------I need to find one of these, lol!

I heard that Aruba is outside the hurricane belt. I've never been there, but I heard its gorgeous and a lot of fun. We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon in the beginning of October and the weather was beautiful. Hot and sunny every day and October was supposed to be their rainy season.

We just came back from Disney for our HM and the weather was great. Disney and Universal go all out for Halloween. There is sooooooooo much to do. We stayed at the Polynesian (hated it) and Grand Floridan (loved it). Although many people think of disney and think kids, there really is a million things for adults to do.
Opps, forgot to mention, you should look into the Disney cruise prior or after Disney. They have 3-4 night ones so even if the weather isnt the best, you only a few days to worry about.

We went to Cabo San Lucas, MX and it was amazing...We had phenomenal weather....

Hey Mim! I've heard that Aruba & Tahiti are both safe weatherwise.....Tahiti is supposed to be but I think anywhere we end up we'll be spending a good amount of moolah!!
And I think you guys will have the best time in Disney especially with Halloween- since that's Frank's favorite time of year!! Can I come?? If you search for Disney there was a post a few weeks ago with lots of details on recommendations of where to stay, what to do etc. I'll try to find it for you!!

Aruba, Bonairre and Curacao are in the Caribbean and not in the hurricane belt.
Los Cabos is great, we went there at the beginning of October and had great weather (it was really hot though!) It's a desert there so they don't usually get much rain. Hurricane John passed through there this year but, they didn't get any major damage. There are a lot of beautiful resorts there!

I think disney and universal studios are sooooo great for halloween!!! Halloween is part of FH business, and he loves it! We would love to end our honeymoon there possible do a 3 nigh 4 day stay! I have also heard that the grand floridian is great! thanks!

Hey Helen! I know!!! I think that tahiti might break our bank! (literally) Adel said that aruba was great, just a bit windy, (remember the windy pic on myspace, lol) Those 2 are def up on my list, I think that money will ultimatly decide what we will do.
I am afraid of the weather in the carribean, although, One of the brides on here said that they had beautiful weather in Jamaica!!! YAY! Thank God For Options!

My Cousin just got married and they went to tahiti for there honeymoon. They had great weather. I would look into going there!!

You should check into Turks and Caicos or Jamaica, the flights are not too long either. HTH
