I cant believe it! We were so happy planning our wedding and looking forward to our honeymoon in Jamaica and now I get the call from Tom that we should postpone for a week to two weeks!
I am so heart broken! With everything we have gone through just to get the honeymoon of our dreams now we have to postpone for a week or two weeks!
This *****! I am in tears right now because the major part of our wedding is now not going to happen.

I feel for you....I am getting married next friday & I am hoping that the hurricanes pass by then so we can still go to Puerto Rico. I hope it all works out for you!!!

I feel your pain. This is why I rescheduled my HM and am going to Aruba. Tomorrow is your wedding day, just have a great day. Try not to let this ruin your day. Can you go somewhere else? Can you get your money back?

Luckily we can get our money back but re-scheduling on such short notice is going to either be expensive or take a while. We might just have to cancel it all together.
FH just got laid off before the wedding and now this.

Well, I am truly sorry because I was in tears all day because of the same thing. I was up all last night, I think you can find cheap last minute packages. I think you guys should still go away somewhere even if it the hamptons or the carolina's. Try travelocity or expedia. Hang in there and don't let it ruin your day

I totally agree -- if you can, definitely try to get away for a few days.

Im sorry but better safe than sorry. You don't want your honeymoon to be interrupted and ruined by this weather. I know a couple that happen to and they got stuck in Cancun for weeks.
Maybe you guys can go somewhere local until you go on your HM.

look at the bright side...at least it's not ruined by you getting to Jamaica and having to go into a boarded up hotel with canned foods!!!!

Oh I am so sorry...don't worry...i never even got to take a real honeymoon yet, just a quick trip up to NH with friends right after the wedding...DH has been laid off for awhile & we just can't afford it...so at least yours is just postponed a week or two...look at it as a nice way to extend that newlywed feeling!

i'm sooooo sorry you are going to have to postpone your HM but be thankful you are not there when it hits!! my Aunt and Uncle went to Jamaica for the 30th wedding ann. 3 yrs ago and while they were there, that HUGE, like category 5 hurricane hit and they spent a week sleeping in the ballroom of the hotel with the rest of the tourists AND employees of the hotel. all they got to eat was rice for a week and most of the hotel flooded!! it's SOO much better that you're not there during this mess, as much as it s*cks.

I'm so sorry! It should make you feel better to know that their are 2 hurricanes down there now....it's for the best! I see today is your big day! It's a perfect day for a wedding! Congrats and enjoy your day.
