Honeymoon Island in August...Suggestions? Aruba/Anguilla

I am so confused about where to book my early August honeymoon. How do I decide which island to go for 7 nights? I have been to a lot of different travel agents and have been doing extensive research online but it seems there are so many different opinions. The latest travel agent I went to today said I need to be really careful where I book b/c it will be hurricane season. I don't want to book an island solely because it 'probably' won't have a hurricane though. We're considering Anguilla as a great possibility b/c we heard it's very secluded and private and you can walk all over island safely (we didn't like Jamaica on our trip last year b/c we really felt stuck in the resort). Many people have suggested Aruba or even Cancun. We aren't looking for a real crowded, loud party honeymoon...does anyone have any suggestions? I would truly appreciate any advice or opinions. THANKS!

My FI and I were in Aruba last May and we absoultely loved it. The weather is always perfect and there is stuff to do @ night and the natural bridge is magnificent.

Have you thought about Bermuda? It is considered to be a good destination in August because it is far north. I went during the last week of August 2000 and the weather was perfect!

Linda, I have been to Aruba in mid- August, the weather was fine, it would rain just a bit in the afternoon, then would be sunny all over again. I wemt there in 1986, so I'm sure ALOT has changed, but as I remember it was very nice. PS did you start your new job yet?
