So, I was really set on the Greek Islands but it just seems like it's not going to work. FH wants to go on a cruise in Europe and doesn't want to jump from hotel to hotel, place to place. I just feel like we get bored at all inclusive places and want to try something new.
So, last week we saw a travel agent and talked about a Royal Caribbean cruise to Italy- Rome and Venice, Greece- Athens and Crete and Turkey. It looks like a great cruise and is really the only European cruise that fits with the timing we need.
Problem is, I still want to explore more of Europe and FH is still obsesses with the idea of a huge cruise boat. I just don't know what to do.

did you shoop around with different cruise companys for longer land and sea trips?? maybe go to a travel agent explain what you want and see what the can find for you! hope it works out!

oh! there are big cruises for fairly cheap (considering) to the Caribbean .. maybe u guys can do a big european land thing (i recommend a tour unless ur sure u can find ur way without one) for the honeymoon and then in a few months or maybe next year do a long weekend getaway cruise thing.. has fh only been on cruises and thats what he likes or has he never been on one and thats why he wants it ?

Date Twin--STOP COPYING ME!! my FH and I are taking that smae exact cruise out of Rome on July 13th, is that the one your looking at? Did you check the cruises that leave out of Barcelona and or England? They are longer in duration and have more stops...let me see if i can find you the link. It would be very cool if we were on the same boat together!! YAY 7/11!
what if you went on the cruise then stayed in europe for a few days to explore other places.

You are too funny! THAT IS EXACTLY THE CRUISE. FH wants to go so bad. I am still torn because I wanted the Greek Islands. The other cruises don't look like they are going to work because of timing. We put a deposit on the Royal Caribbean cruise but just to hold it. I just don't know what to do!

We shopped around all over online and went to 2 agents. FH really wants a cruise. I really want the Greek Islands. We will have to figure it out somehow.

it seems like it's a lot of unpackin and packing when u do a customized Greek Island vacation/HM
but to be honest-it doesn't FEEL it. I'd tell FH to reconsider it. Many people who take cruises to different European coutries always wished they had more time in Greece-
how many days do u have? PS- Monarch Cruises-focus on Greece
