So, FH and I are total beach bums. We LOVE the beach. He surfs, I sit and read books all day and trashy magazines. Our ideal honeymoon would consist of ocean, sun and each other.
With that being said, I loved the idea of hawaii O Bora Bora. So, I looked into some packages and last night FH and I were talking. He looked at me and said 'I love the idea of bora bora but my dad's honeymoon with his 2nd wife was there. I hate to think of honeymooning where my dad honeymooned with the woman he left my mom for...' (i felt like crying after that statement)
FH feels that he doesn't want to 'jinx' us by going to Bora Bora. Now I totally don't want to go there because of that...
Can anyone else think of other lush tropical and exotic places we can honeymoon. Any ideas truly appreciated!!

I do love the idea of Cabo and there is this hotel called 'Las Ventanas' that looks amazing.
And yes, I was so sad when FH told me his thoughts on Bora Bora. I just wanted to hug him so tight.... My FH is still really affected by his Dad leaving his mom.

How about - Maldives? it's up there with Bora Bora, it's the 'new Bora Bora'
I would even say Seychelles.
But, if you want Tropical Exotic i would say South Pacific or Indian Ocean
you have the Mauritus Islands as well!

How about Moorea...it's the island next to Bora Bora..and just as beautiful...that's where I'm going.
Also, the Fiji Islands are just as gorgeous as well. Heard Rara Tonga or even Turtle Island is to die for. You may want to check those out..

Sorry to hear about that . I'm going to the bahamas and staying at sandals. It's really nice you should look into it. You get your own villa, nice clean beach water. We even got a butler. Good luck with your search. FM me if you want to know more about the bahamas. HTH.

Definitely look into Maldives and Seychelles!!! Amazing! My boss told me we should go there for our HM, or bora Bora, but check into them!

Costa Rica-check out Guanacaste...the four seasons is in that area. very pretty, tropical...monkeys, sloths, birds...amazing! great for surfing too. lots of different activities...fm me i've been there 3 times and know a lot about it.
oh and a lot cheaper too.

i agree with maldives and saychelles...if you were interested in tahiti, bora bora and those islands but now not sure about it bc of fh's personal situation then definitely look into those

I love it. I love telling couples where to go and not to go.
it wasn't So exciting putting my HM together being that When i book other couples i feel like im booking my own!!
