So, FH and I are total beach bums. We LOVE the beach. He surfs, I sit and read books all day and trashy magazines. Our ideal honeymoon would consist of ocean, sun and each other.
With that being said, I loved the idea of hawaii O Bora Bora. So, I looked into some packages and last night FH and I were talking. He looked at me and said 'I love the idea of bora bora but my dad's honeymoon with his 2nd wife was there. I hate to think of honeymooning where my dad honeymooned with the woman he left my mom for...' (i felt like crying after that statement)
FH feels that he doesn't want to 'jinx' us by going to Bora Bora. Now I totally don't want to go there because of that...
Can anyone else think of other lush tropical and exotic places we can honeymoon. Any ideas truly appreciated!!

I love Europe as well and I'm dying to go to Santorini (my parent's close friends are from greece and they bring us back olive oil from their olive farm. It's the most amazing olive oil i've ever had) But FH doesn't want to go to Europe...
I DO plan on going to Santorini and island hop around greece. Love the food, love the people and the history of the islands.

Yeah, I've definitely been obsessing over the mediteranean.... ever since my parents came back from greece we always say 'let's get authentic greek salad' aka salad with no lettuce. just tomato, feta cheese, cucumbers. My two fave restaurants in NYC is Periyali (best octopus ever) and Pylos. My girlfriend did a cruise of Greece, Italy, Egypt and it looked amazing but FH shot down that idea.
I've never been to Paris but I go to Cannes for work every year. I want to go to Paris. I do love the french food. (can u tell I love to eat?)
