I am soo confused because I originally wanted to go to Peru but FH is like 'no.' I told him my reasons for wanting to go and he still wasn't interested. Instead, what we said was we would each pick two places that we both are interested in and then choose out of a hat. {I know very lame :) } So that was the plan for about one month. Then I changed my mine and gave him complete control as to where we will go. Now he is picking crazy places that he wants to go. I gave him this control because he is most excited about the HM than planning for this wedding and I'm like if you don't help plan, we can't have a wedding therefore no HM. So with that said, my original two were Peru and Aruba. His choice was Aruba or St. Lucia. All nice places. My thing is I don't want to just lay on the beach all day I want to do adventurous things ie rainforest, hiking and then the typical beachy things. Tonight he bought up the topic again and I was like Hawaii. He's not sold on this because of the flying time and layover. So now we are both guileless as to where we will go. Any other suggestions will be most helpful.
Thanks, BTW, I told him I was going to post and get some ideas off you ladies and he was like 'OK.' For once he said go ask your online friends.
check out costa rica...has beaches and adventurous things to do or maybe a cruise...you can get a nice mix of what both of you want that way

Re: Honeymoon location ideas
Currently booked to Jamaica, Sandals Dunn River but I believe that we are changing to go on a Medditeranian cruise to Italy, Spain, and possibly a stop in Greece, Tunisia or France depending on the one we book.

Re: Honeymoon location ideas
We're probably going to go somewhere in the United States. Maybe a vineyard, maybe an expensive hotel in the Poconos or elsewhere, or maybe even take a trip up to somewhere in Canada.
I refuse to fly, and FH gets seasick. Plus I'm not into the whole Pirates attacking Cruise Ships thing that has occured not that long ago.

We are most likely going to take advantage of the 10-day all inclusive honeymoon to Greece that the Floral Terrace offers. I'm so excited!!!

ITA. Costa Rica sounds like the best mix of what you both want. And it is gorgeous.
We are hopefully going to the South Pacific, if we can afford it.
