FH and I are on a tight budget being that when we will be married will will be our ears in med school loans. Can anyone suggest a great honeymoon site in April for $4,000 or under???
And mexico is off the list since that's where we have spent the last 3 years of our lives! Oh and forgot to add that FH is from Puerto Rico so that's kinda off the list too.

That's easy! Check out cheapcaribbean.com There are DEFINITELY places you can go for way under $4000, especially if you do an all-inclusive.

Where are you looking to go? You can probably get some deals in FLA. Maybe Key West. We used a family friend who is travel agent and she got us a great deal to Hawaii. We are spending about $6000 though.

I would looove to go to Hawaii but I think with airfare +hotel we are looking at more than 4-5000 :(

Look into a cruise to Hawaii. You might be surprised it is in your price range-there are so many great deals.
We are paying a little under 6K to fly to San Fransisco and stay two nights there, then fly to Honolulu and stay 3 nights in Wikki, then catch a cruise ship for a week and then fly home. It also includes a rental car for the 1st week before the ship. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
I think the cruise was only about 2K per person for a balcony room. Much less for an inside cabin or window cabin. You can try Norwegian Crusies if you are interested.

you can go to pretty much all of the Caribbean or even costa rica which I would recommend.

definitely look into a cruise or the carribean, bahamas, jamaicia and virgin islands usually have great deals.

i agree with the cruise ideas-i mean were looking at spending around 7k, but were going to europe for 2 weeks including 2 nights in barcelona and a 12 night cruise

we spent 3300 on our 10 day belize HM (hotel and airfare) we spent another 1k there but we dove the blue hole which was very expensive....so it can be done for less than what we spent.

You can prob still do Hawaii for that time frame with that budget. If you don't want to spend a ton for the big name hotels and may consider timeshares... or other deals like that... here are some websites we're looking into now: VRBO.com HomeAway.com CyberRentals.com
There are a lot of people that rent their places for a lot less that the other places and just as nice or nicer. You can just buy your airfare separately. Even tho a pain, you can try flying cheap to CA or Las Vegas and then jumping a flight to Hawaii. You can save a ton of cash. Also register for Hawaiian Air for deal info, esp. on inter-island transfers
