Does anyone else feel like the honeymoon packages are soooo outragously pricey? What has everyone else ended up booking, and what are the pro's in booking a HM package??

I am thinking about booking the regular vacation package. i think that it is going to be cheap in the long run.

my cousin did this..
She booked a regular vacation, at Sandals @ St. Lucia, and when they arrived, when they were checking in, the let them know they just got married, and got a room upgrade at no charge, not sure if this was dumb luck, or the norm...

Looking through some of the booklets for HM, the only extra thing you might get is a bottle of champagne or something else, I guess a different suite, but hey If I'm going to be paying an extra $2000-3000 is it really worth it. I'm trying to watch the budget.
