We went to St. Thomas for 6 days. It was so much fun and so relaxing. There is TONS to do on the island but we didn't do a damn thing... we just lounged at the beach and by the pool and drank and ate every single day. I definitely recommend it. And we couldn't have gone a more perfect time... 1) because it was empty being that it's the off season there... and 2) because from what I'm hearing, there's a terrible storm rolling in down there... YIKES!!!
Our flight to Miami left JFK at 5:45 am which meant we had a car picking us up at 3:45 am... we were exhausted!
The amazing view of the ocean from our room. The water was so calm, so clear... and so salty!
There were iguanas all over the place. They were calm though and didn't bother anyone. We always saved the fruit from our drinks to feed to them on the way back up to our room. Most of them hung out in packs of 15 to 30!
This is a view of Magen's Bay from a hilltop (we took a scenic tour of the island one day). Most amazing thing I've ever seen... and it's in the shape of a heart. Apparantly, this is where Bill Clinton came after everything went down with Monica Lewinksy!

Dinner at an open-air Cuban restaraunt... so good! And the view, even though it was dark, was amazing. We saw a cruise ship pass right by us on their way back out to sea... it was incredible!

We took a catamaran to a secluded island not far from St. Thomas for a sunset beach BBQ. So much fun!!
The clouds over St. Thomas were something we'd never seen before... and they were even more beautiful during sunset.

Thanks Amanda! It was the Frenchman's Reef and Morningstar Marriott Resort. You have the option to do all-inclusive or not. We chose not to do it (which we regret) because we figured we'd be off the resort exploring and eating more than we actually were and because the bars on the resort all close at 11pm but we were in bed asleep by then from such a long day. We definitely want to go back and when we do we will totally do all-inclusive!
We went here for our HM too, and it was fabulous!!! We stayed at the Morningstar. Did you guys get to eat at the Blue Havana restaurant (I think that's what it was called......)?? So good, and they had the yummiest martini - it tasted just like blueberry pie. Ahh, memories. Anyway, glad you had a blast! We totally plan on going back one day too.

Yep! We ate there!!!! It was so good and I was a little worried because it's Cuban food and I'm not a fan of spicey but it was deliscious!! We stayed at the Frenchman's Reef part of the hotel, but Morningstar looked GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! Did you stay on the beach side or the harbor side?

We stayed on the beach side. It is sooo nice to hear the waves crashing all night. And honestly, since we went in the off-season too, it wasn't all THAT expensive. They gave us each like a $100 food credit too or something, when we checked out, it was a little surprise. Did you take the ferry to St. John while you were there? It's AMAZING there! Ohhhh i wanna go somewhere tropical right now
