we havent booked our honeymoon yet, but now i am confused.. we have in mind where we want to go and what we want to do and its been decided that we want to go on a 10 day cruise! i spoke to my cousin last night who works at an agency and is going to look up prices and cruises for us, but she told us that in november it is hurricane season and there are cruises really only going to certain islands cause of that! i am confused now and thought by november hurricane season is over! now i dont know if i want to take the risk of taking a cruise during a hurricane season if this is true.. we went on a cruise in august and it was hurricane season and the islands we were suppose to go to we didnt and ended up going to some islands we have been to already and we worent soo crazy about! if i book a cruise to certain islands i want to visit i will be very upset and torn on my honeymoon if it is hurricane season and we have to get out route changed and go to other islands instead.. now i dont know what to do! any girls on here taking cruises for their honeymoon??

Princess Cruises has a couple of cruises around Hawaii in November. You'll be out of the hurricane region.

i was looking at that but those are sooo expensive, to go to hawaii.. for that price wed just take a flight there to the actual island and stay there for 10 days.. im gonna shop around and see what i can find, thanks! :)

by the way.. i just noticed on your page your getting married at crest hollow, so am i! :) good choice, hehe! and i am also using pedestals! are you working with vito from there?? :) and who is the person you are working with at crest hollow?? i hope its not the same one i am, lol cause i am not too happy with him and not too crazy about him.. but loveee the RH! :)

June 1 to November 30 We got stuck too! We decided to go to Aruba!
i was thinking of maybe doing a cruise to aruba?? we love cruises so we really want to do a cruise.. maybe a cruise to turks & caicos and aruba?? i dunno, we'll see!! what part of aruba are you going to and for how long??

We're staying on the high-rise strip at the Riu! Its all inclusive (which is awesome cause we're not really foodies, but I know i'm going to drink quite a few margharitas ) I think a cruise is a really good idea, because even if there is a storm, they just sail around it. I have heard Turks is BEAUTIFUL, if you can do it I say go for it!!! We just couldnt bring ourselves to spend 15K on the honeymoon or trust me I'd be there!

yeah i heard turks is awesome but not to be there for many days cause there is nothing to do but lay on the beach. i heard there is no shopping there or anything, its more of a laid back place! :) but i heard it is amazing! i want to go there on a cruise and would love to go to aruba also! so if i found a cruise to both islands that would be the most perfect honeymoon :) but i doubt there will be a cruise that will go to both places.. so we will have to decide what to do! if worse comes to worse and we dont take the cruise to aruba, than we might just go to aruba for like 7 to 10 days and thats it! i was looking at that same place your staying and it looks absolutely gorgeous.. if you dont mind me asking, how was the price range in that place for all inclusive if you dont mind me asking?? just to have an idea of what im looking at.. and how many days are you guys going for?? again thanks for your help!
id love to do the FIJI islands, but that is definately not in our budget, lol.. we also love the SANDALS resort, but i dont even think either place has that there!

i would just plan what and where u want to go in your budget and get insurance ... even if u pick a place not in the hurricane belt u r going to still get insurance god forbid so might as well pick what u want

Our honeymoon falls in the peak of hurricane season so we were either going to do Aruba or head in the other direction(French Polynesia or Hawaii). We aren't doing a cruise to Hawaii-we are flying in and doing Maui for 5 days, Kauai for 7...which is def less expensive than Princess cruises(I thought you had your heart set on a cruise!)
I am working with Nadia(who I love) at Pedestals-and I'll fm you who I booked with at CH just in case. I am really excited about the Crest Hollow regardless of some previous posts I read on here. I hear so many wonderful things about the place.
