Honeymoon question/ advise

So FH and I want to go to completely different places for our honeymoon, and i was wondering if you girls can help me out with pricing and info on these places

He wants to go to italy, and i want to go to hawaii, or to french polonesia, or even just an island somewhere (i want to do things like snorking, scuba diving, swim with dolphins)

He basically wants to do something adventurous and doesnt want to be bored laying on a beach...i want to do something adventuous also but want to relax also after all the planning and stress from the wedding

Does anyone have info on these places..like prices, things to do at these places..any advise or info would be great!! thanks!!!

Would you also consider the French or Italian Rivieras? You could get your beach time there and your fiance would also get his fill of a different culture.

A couple of notes--the beaches in Nice (French Riviera) are made up of smooth, eroded pebbles, not sand. I'm not sure if that's the case in Italy or even other parts of the French Riviera. Also, I've heard many shops and restaurants close down in Paris in August b/c it's their vacation season then. I'm not sure if that's true down in the southern parts of France, where the Fr. Riv. would be. GL.
