Honeymoon question?! Tahiti vs.Hawaii

Cant make up our minds! called a few travel agents and basically said that we would touch base in june to book but first i have to figure out where to go! .. can anyone that has been to either Tahiti or Hawaii FM me for details and prices.. I talked to the travel agent today and he said that i would get more 'bang for my buck' in Hawaii but I would really like to go to Tahiti..well either place would be great TIA!!
