are going right after the wedding and how many of you are going months later? I'm asking cause its pretty much hurricane season for all the tropical places in august and I was thinking it might be better to wait a couple months so are choices arent so limited.

We're going right after. The wedding is Saturday night and we're leaving Monday morning.

I am getting married a week before you and leaving for my HM right after the wedding.
We still have not decided where we want to go but it will probably be one of the Caribbean Islands. So we also have to worry about hurricane season.
Aruba is below the hurricane belt and a safe choice.
I would also get trip insurance.

We are leaving right after the wedding but we are getting married in August which makes it somewhat easier (cannot really go to the Caribbean because of hurricanes).

We are going in August but thats why we are going to Hawaii. We really wanted to be alone and relaxing after the wedding and use the honeymoon as our transition to husband and wife. It was really important that I was able to go away right away, which is why I didn't choose the end of August or the weekend after Labor Day, which pre-becoming a teacher was always when I wanted to get married.

We are waiting till December. We're going the last week in Dec through the first week in Jan. I only get two weeks vacation and don't want to use it all up at once. This way I'll be using a week 09' and a week from 2010.

were doing a mini weekend local and then 5 weeks later goin to greece for 2 weeks. Wanted to go right away but FH is a doctor in residencey and cant get off in july

I am goiing right after. My date is in September but they have the few islands that dont get hurricanes like say Aruba. Honestly, we r fine as long as its tropical and has a beach to relax on!

We will not be booking it until AFTER the wedding. So, if we can manage to set it up for right after the wedding then I'll take it! But it'll likely be months after.
