so we started doing some research on where we want to go and we cant decide if we wanna go all out or stay within a budget. i would prefer a long HM (more than 7 days) but that affects our decision alot

We didnt book it yet but I'm almsot 100% sure we are going to Excellence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for 9 nights 10 days. Just under 4k

We are 99% sure we are going to Saint Lucia Sandals Grande Resort for at least 1 week but we aren't on too tight of a budget since to FIL are paying for us!!

We budgeted around 10k and would like to do an all inclusive for about 10 days. We'll see how that works out when we meet with our travel agent. I would just tell your agent your budget and have them work with you..

We went to Ireland for 9 days We spent 6k after we factored in food and transportation around the island since we didn't rent a car we had public transport (bus and train).
It was a great trip but we could of gotten the entire package for 5k if we booked a tour with CIE but we didn't want to get stuck getting up at 6 a.m. and getting in at 7 p.m. to eat. When we returned we loved our HM but we wished we shortened the time since it would of saved us $$$$ and 3 days were wasted.

havent booked it yet because we are not going at the time fo our wedding. Planning for Ireland but in february..its not a great time to visit so we are pushing HM back to end of sping/beg of summer. It will be costly being that the dollar isnt worth much BUT...i am not a beach person and if i am going to spend th emoney its going to be to see the world...not lay on a beach that looks like every other beach. Thats jmo...FH and I like to travel and want to see all of Europe....we are soo excited!

We are going to Atlantis Paradise Island, in the Bahamas. We are going for 5 nights and 6 days. I believe we also got the food package which pays for all of our meals wherever we go. We paid under 4k. I can't wait to go and sit on a beach with a drink in hand and not hear my mother in laws voice lol

my situation is a bit different bc im using my parents timsehare trade (we got aruba) for half of our HM... the other half we're going on a cruise out of miami to the bahamas and key west... 4 nights, $1200 Flights from NYC to Miami, Miami to Aruba, and Aruba to NYC came out to $1600 for the 2 of us

We did 3 islands in Greece for 10 days and it was around 7K with out any food or drinks or anything like that. Totally worth every penny though!!!

DH and I went to Royal Hideaway in Playacar Mexico for 11 days all-inclusive and we spent less then $4,500 for the resort and airfare. But once we were there we spent maybe another $1k on excursions.
