honeymoon questions

ok ladies, FH and I really can't figure out where to go...
I want something with a lot of activities, (snorkeling, swimming, zip lines, kayaking, etc.) plus I want to be able to lay on the beach and drink... he wants to go to the ice hotel. he's already told me he'll go somewhere warm, but he won't really join in the activities... w/e.

what we both want is the recognition that we're on our honeymoon... you know, the pedals on the bed, the chocolates and champagne brought to our room... things like that.

so where should we go that is AFFORDABLE? (i really wanted to stay in a hut suspended over water, but its too expensive)

and where are you going? how much are you spending (if you don't mind sharing)?

thanks!

Go to Mexico and the Rivera Maya to an all-inclusive. You get the most for your dollar there.

Try looking to go to Costa Rica, it has all the activities you are looking for plus a few all-inclusive resorts to stay at. We are staying at the Paradisus Playa Conchal they have honeymoon suites!

We are going to the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa, Montego Bay. I don't know how much it is because it was a gift from his mom.

I would have to say Mexico or Jamaica as very affordable. We stayed at the El Dorado Royale in Mexico in 2008 and havent been to a place that had beat it! it was beautiful, clean, fun and affordable.
