Yup, in fact, my best friend's honeymoon registry was all GONE and I bought her 'Honeymoon Cash'

I bought things off of my friend's honeymoon registry and think it's a great idea. I checked out honeymoonwishes.com and it looks like an awesome idea but I thought it said there's a fee for every gift purchased (that the couple has to pay for) but I'm not positive.
I'm probably doing Mariott's honeymoon registry because we'll be staying at a Marriott for our honeymoon. And it's free!
