Honeymoon Registries
Happy Monday Bride Mates!I was wondering if any of you ladies did a honeymoon registries or used one in the past to send a 'gift' to a couple. How do you guys feel about honeymoon registries? I started one from my FH and I since we really don't need household items. I got this idea from a co-worker of mine who did a honeymoon registry for their Safari trip to Africa.
Thanks in advance Ladies!

I started to create one on honeymoonwishes.com. I was reading about the Sandals registry as well. My colleague who did the Safari honeymoon registry said it worked out great as families paid for excursions and one group of his cousins paid for their Safari excursion and candle light dinner on the beach.

Honeymoon Registries
We did a sandals registry. I am personally not a fan of registries that specifically ask for money donations and I know a lot of family members that complained about my cousin asked for that on her honeymoon registry. I do think that asking for specific excursions and things is nice though. That way, the person giving the gift knows exactly where it is going

We are using honey fund. We are going to Hawaii on our own for a week and then taking a Hawaiian cruise. We put the excursions as registry gifts. We live in a well furnished condo so we really don't need household items either. I'm sure some people may think that it's tacky or whatever but I don't really care. I'm not going to register for things I don't need just to please the naysayers. Def check out honeyfund.com

I wouldn't do honeyfund.. my cousin used it and they take a % of the gifts you get... my aunts and uncles also didn't like that if they were buying a certain excursion, it isn't gifted to the bride and groom as the excursion, it's literally just money being gifted to them and you just have to HOPE that the bride and groom will actually use that money for that excursion. There are other sites that don't take a commission from you and actually book the excursions for you so that your guests are 100% sure that they know where their money is going to

Honeymoon Registries - Long Island Weddings
Most sites charge some kind of percentage. When I researched honeyfund was the least amount taken than all the others. If you're going with sandals than their honeymoon registry is specifically for them. Honeyfund is for anything you want. Guests can print out little certificates to put into a card that says what they 'bought' for you. Yes, you can use the $$ fir anything you want since it's just getting deposited into your account-but that's really up to you.Welcome New Vendors
