Re: honeymoon registry...
I agree...I think just a regular wedding registry is sufficient.

Re: honeymoon registry...
I am debating doing it. My FH and I live together and have for a while and really dont need much at all... we have been racking our brains trying to think of things we need.

AHHH!!! that is a diff. story. Yes usually when a couple is currently living together, then a regular registry is not necessary...I would go for the HM registry then.

Re: honeymoon registry...
we are doing one because we already own our own home, have everything, all our china etc.....we are excited about it...i don't think its any more tacky then registering at BBB and then returning things for cash ....JMO though........enjoy making it if you decide to do it!

Re: honeymoon registry...
we got so much stuff for our e-party and already live together-- so there is SO little left on my registry that a lot of people have been telling FMIL they will just give me cash/checks for my BS so FMIL actually told me to make a HM registry so people have something to give-- even tho, in essence, it's just giving cash anyway-- but they 'feel' better doing it this way... so i'm doing it and after how much we got at our e-party-- i think we are going to end up having like HALF of the money for our HM from the BS guests! but it's true-- whats the diff b/w a regular registry and HM-- money is money and it's either going towards a mixer or your HM.
YAY!!!!!

I think it is a good idea, especially if you already have a lot of things you need for the house.

Re: honeymoon registry...
I don't think it's tacky.....people are either giving you a gift on your registry at BBB or giving you a gift on your honeymoon registry.
I think it's a great idea....some people get sick of doing the normal toaster oven type thing, why not give them an option.
I'm not doing one but IMHO I don't think it's tacky at all.

I agree. . .I don't think it's tacky especially if you live together in a house and don't need anything.

Re: honeymoon registry...
I'm not doing one, but FH and I both live with our parents, so we need things for our apartment to start our life together, but I think it's a great idea for a couple that already has a home and is already is in possession of the things that normally appear on a registry.

Re: honeymoon registry...
I was considering this too because my honeymoon is a bit expensive but my parents think it's tacky so I don't know what I'm going to decide
