Honeymoon registry?

Honeymoon registry?

Hi ladies. I'm interested to hear from anyone who has done a honeymoon registry. We would really like to go to Atlantis in the Bahamas and are a little off put by the cost and are wondering if a honeymoon registry might be the solution.

Could you post if you are doing one, if so, which service and how does it work (do guests have to go to a specific site to do it, etc)?

Also, if any of you know any travel agents that book for Atlantis, please let me know!

TIA!

Re: Honeymoon registry?

We registered for our honeymoon, Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, through weddingchannel.com

I think that in order to register for your honeymoon it has to be through weddingchannel and from there it can either be a Sandals resort or any Starwood Resort/Hotel.

We have one through honeymoonwishes.com. We've been very happy with them and we've gotten a ton of money towards our trip.

We have one at : TheBigDay.com I've seen other honeymoon registries, but I must admit, this one gives you the most options possible!

Re: Honeymoon registry?

we have one for Disney which doesn't really help you but I think before when we were going to go somewhere different I had looked at thebigday.com but did not love the idea of having fees taken out if I didn't book my travel though them.

I haven't looked too much at these other ones but heres a few links to different ones.
Honeyfund - this one says its all free

Re: Honeymoon registry?

We did ours through Liberty Travel. We just had our e-party and quite a few people put $ on our account. It was great and definitely off-set the cost. We will keep it open for the shower too- which is a ways off still. They gave us registry cards that you pop the travel agents card into. You can write your account # on it in the space, or what we did was order a stamp form vistaprint.com with our accuont # and stamped them all. FM me if you have any other Qs.

Good Luck!
