Where is everyone going on their honeymoon. We have no idea where we want to go but we want it to be somewhere we will probably never go again since we don't travel too often. I was looking at a starwood resort in Tahiti and somehow the rooms were $1,500 a night!!! We can not afford that. Any suggestions?

We wanted to go to Tahiti too until reality hit. Check out Mexico, it's half the price. We're staying at the Excellence and the Royal Hideaway in Riviera Maya.

Re: Honeymoon suggestions
MaggieluvsJoe - my fiance and I went to Aruba last year and it was amazing. Your hotel is in the high rise section which was really nice - if you go, there's a lovely and romantic restaurant we went to one night called Papamiento - we took a cab from the hotel. There's a write-up about it on fodors.com - we loved it - it's lit up with lanterns around a pool at night and the food was excellent.

We are going to Mexico and staying at the Excellence resort in the Maya Riveria. Quite a few people we know have been there for their HM and absolutely loved it plus cost wise it worked well for us. I really wanted to go to Ireland though, but right now we just don't have the money.

Re: Honeymoon suggestions
we're going to Puerto Vallarta and staying at the Dreams Resport and Spa
If you plan to go right after or close to your weding date, then you have a very big selection of honeymoon spots to choose from. It really depends on your budget, length of vacation and what you want to do while on honeymoon (sunbathing only? or also some touristy stuff?)
I recommend going to any travel agency that's close to you and picking up brochures from a variety of different places...look through the photos, check the prices, explore activity possibilities. Then talk to a travel agent...he/she will have recommendations, too.

We went to Italy (Rome, Sorrento, Florence & Venice). It's a once in a lifetime trip if you don't often travel, I say go for it.
