FH and I would like to go to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We'd like to go for 8 days & 7 nights if possible. We'd like to take part in the excursions as well as have time to relax and just enjoy each other. We're on a budget -looking to spend $5,000 or under. I have emailed Memorable Costa Rica to inquire about pricing and availability but have not received a response. I emailed them about a week ago and figured that I will give them until the end of next week- if I don't hear from the by then I will call ( just figured emailing would be easier & faster). We've also gone to Liberty Travel and were quoted over $7,000 for 6 days & 5 nights. If anyone has any info, please FM me. Thank you.

When I was thinking of going to Costa Rica, we came across this resort called Lapa Rios (http://laparios.com/) -seemed really romantic, and took advantage of what Costa Rica had to offer. They had a honeymoon package that would work with your budget -hope that helps!

Took a class down there for about two weeks. Spent a week in Tortuguera and it was beautiful! All-inclusive and about $100 a night.
