Is it possible to book one week in New Orleans from Mon., 11/29-Sat., 12/4 flying in from NYC and then fly to Cancun on 12/4, where our resort is already booked for another week, and find flights to and from that is most affordable? Internet travel sites aren't making this easy as we don't need hotel the 2nd week and it appears flights out of Cancun don't leave early enough on Sat. 12/11 to get from N.O. back to NY.
I've emailed this to Vendors helping brides, but thought someone else here might know of a good travel agent, or be one...
Thanks for your time, folks!

Re: Honeymoon travel madness.
I used sharon from MSW Travel a vendor on here, and she was great. Tell her bridget sent you.
Thank you so much! You've already booked your honeymoon for next year? You are GOOD. I'll check her out in the meantime.

Why don't you fly to Cancun from New Orleans? You're already 1/2 way there.

Re: Honeymoon travel madness.
That's the plan, which is why we thought to go to N.O. in the first place. We need to find flights from NY to NO-Cancun-NY (or possibly Cancun to NO to NY if it's cheaper). Seems like doing 2 separate R/T flights is cheapest, but still researching and it's been diff. finding something great b/c we're not booking a hotel the 2nd week...

Not sure how much you want to spend but this is your agenda on Orbitz -
11/29 LGA to New Orleans 12/4- New Orleans to Dallas to Cancun 12/11- Cancun to JFK
this is pricing at $681 per person on American Airlines

Re: Honeymoon travel madness.
Thanks for your time on that; it's so thoughtful! We've been getting prices around there, some reaching into the $800-range, though. Found a great deal through Sharon at MSW, as Bridget suggested, and may go w/ her (thanks again, B!) but will follow up w/ 2 others before I book. Seems like that's the median price range. Again, that was very kind to look into.
Sharon found us 5 night hotel stay at top hotels (W, Fairmont, etc.) for $1150/person or $1200 and going on up w/ even better hotels. That's for R/T fare (NY to NO to Cancun straight back to NY but in and out of NWK). Not bad, considering it would be about that much if we chose a lesser hotel and booked flights (w/out a 'package' deal), so we may take that one.
