We went to the Divi All Inclusive Resort in Aruba and loved every moment.

Like someone else mentioned, you have to be careful about the hurricanes....we're getting married late August so to be safe we booked Aruba at the Renaissance Resort and Casino all inclusive for about $3K not including airfare.

We're going to Couples Ocho Rios in Jamaica--it's another very popular all-inclusive adults only resort like Sandals--but their hotels are smaller and a little more intimate.

thanks ladies for the ideas...
i know i've thought about the hurricane thing already, especially after last years storms...
great research that Aruba hasn't been hit in 50 years....I think i may look into them first, i don't want to ruin my vacation b/c of a storm...
September is a great time of year to get married but not the best to go down south for a vacation...

Aruba The Radisson. FYI my brother just came back and stayed there he said the Radisson is beautiful and they checked out every hotel and he said the Radisson is by far one of the most beautiful hotels on the Island.

We are getting married in September also, and you should definately keep in mind that you are going during Hurricane Season, so the Carribean/Mexico/Puerto Rico is a BAD option for you. We wanted all-inclusive as well, so we are going to Aruba for 10 nights/11 days which falls outside of the Hurricane belt (they havent gotten a hurricane in about 50 years)
We are staying at the DIVI Aruba All Inclusive Hotel. The Divi is great because it is connected to The Tamarijin Hotel and also the Alahmbra Casino. There is a shuttle that will take you back and forth to all 3 locations. As a guest of the Divi or the Tamarijin, you have access to all sites on both facilities including about 7 restaurants, 2 beaches, 3 pools and all the bars and clubs.

They will upgrade your room and throw in tons of extras if you book the Honeymoon package.

We locked in the rate of $374/night so all 10 days including food and alcohol is about $3740.

Didn't book yet... but thinking either St. Lucia or Antigua... Hawaii is out of our budget

my FH has been to both-- said st. lucia is gorgeous and i have heard great things about it too but he, to this day, RAVES about antigua... i mean, on and on and on LOL!!

so either way, sounds like good choices but i just thought i would pass that along.
