I'm having a hard time figuring out where to start to look for a honeymoon.
I've looked at a bunch of places - Aruba, Italy, etc., but can't seem to narrow it down to one place that we've said THAT'S IT!...So here's my question:
Are there any islands/locations that have the following:
- Beach - All Inclusive - Don't cost as much as a down payment on a house hah - Also have nearby other attractions and activities
We're opened to anything but are on a budget since we're paying for everything. We mainly want to spend 2 weeks in paradise relaxing, and still having fun while not breaking the bank by too much.
We'd be going right after the wedding - so locations w/ awesome May weather.

Re: Honeymoon, where to start...
I would say Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico are all options ... May is perfect for those areas and they all have beaches...
Try Punta Cana, DR I hear it's beatiful

check out Couples.com resorts in Jamaica! They are all-inclusive and you literally will not have to leave the resort for anything!

I haven't booked it yet, but I plan to book soon-- at an all-inclusive in Turks and Caicos that is almost brand new, and has had rave reviews. It's called The Veranda. Looks amazing

How bout a US Virgin Island? I was researching the other day a little bit (still way too early, but i was excited!) and it wasn't too bad!

how about Sandals? they are all over the carribean and if you go for a regular room instead of the more luxurious ones, they are a real bargain!

We're doing something simple. Going on a Disney Cruise and then staying in WDW. We are not the sit and relax type, and we are Disney Vacation Club members.

we're doing a mini-moon to california right after the wedding for 5 days, but that Nov we will be taking our 2 week HM in st lucia. Staying at one of the sandals resorts because they're all-inclusive.
A friend of mine is honeymooning at Breezes in Jamacia. That's all-inclusive as well
Also check out almond beach resorts too.

Thanks ladies!!!
I looked at Sandals but they were kinda pricey - but I don't think that was for a regular room, so I'll look into that, as well as the other recommendations.

Re: Honeymoon, where to start...
Caribbean is great in May. We were looking into Sandals but decided to go with a cruise instead. We thought it would be a better choice for us, the price is great, and we get to see 6 different islands. Other than that I think Jamaica and Aruba have a lot of reasonable all inclusive choices. Good luck!
