Honeymoons

a lot of ppl are going to hawaii!! we are going to hawaii 2 months after our wedding for my friends wedding that i am in! so it will be like a second honeymoon hopefully we will still have $$ by then!!

We have talked about it and looked at packages.

Originally we were gonna go to tahiti first and stop over in vegas...But the other day FH said to go to vegas first, since we will party there and vegas tires you out, so this way when we get to tahiti well recoup there and relax and also be relaxed when we get home, which makes alot of sense lol

SO as of now its vegas and tahiti..which is also good bc i was worried about getting bored in tahiti at night, so by then we'll be partied out

THis sounds like a great idea. We were going to do this with Hawaii/Vegas but now we are thinking Tahiti. Have you gotten any price quotes on this yet. I feel like its a good idea in theory but might REALLY break the bank, as per usual with this wedding planning stuff!!

I have a brochure at home...Theres like dozens of different packages...Depends which islands, how many nights at each island, depends which place you stay at, then if you want all-inclusive or not...The norm i would say is about $5000-8000 per person...There are cheaper and even more expensive packages but thats the average amount...Probably would say $5000-6000 the most common.

If you want, I can Fm you later on specific packages that i have in the brochure.

we would like to go to tahiti also...i have to really discuss the weather with a travel agent though. ive been reading that its still fine to go there the end of nov...but i just want to be reassured.

but if not there...then some other exotic locale (maybe fiji if there are no travel warnings)...we figured its out honeymoon and we might not get to travel super far once we have kids...and we're going to start doing europe after the wedding because fh has never been.

Yeah that is what I want to do, convince FH to do Europe

im dyiiiing to go to italy cuz ive never been there or greece. but i want to wait til after we settle down and then maybe we can do an extended vacation and visit a few places during the same trip.

i wouldnt mind the other countries, but its not as imp to me since ive been but i want fh to experience it

Yeah I am trying to convince FH to go to those places too. He is Italian, never been there you would think he would want to go lol...And would love to do Greece too.

no they say bora bora is gorgeous...I saw alot of people post this on bhb...They said tahiti is the least nicest place there, its more just a stop over place...Bora bora is gorgeous and moorea and other islands...but i noticed that EVERY package had tahiti for just one day
