How soon do you book it? OUr wedding is about a year away, and I cannot seem to get price quotes from manym but do not want to wait forever either.....how soon did you book yours?

We booked ours 9 months before our wedding...that should give you enough time!

I just finished booking my hotels and I am about 9 months away. Still working on the airfare. I emailed some hotels directly for there '04 rates and then travel agents were able to get me rates also.

We just booked ours for March! We got a great deal on our own. Expedia had led me to the resort but I went on the resorts website and the airline and ended up saving $250.

my husband booked ours and I think he did it right after we got engaged...approx. 11 months before the wedding.

We got engaged in Feb. and booked out honeymoon the end of March.
I was told to wait until less than 6 months before...
we booked ours in April for a aug departure

If you are getting married during a holiday weekend or when schools are on vacation, don't wait too long to book. We are getting married Valentine's Day weekend and that is also President's Day week (I am a teacher and have the week off). We booked early to get airfare and a place to go b/c so many people travel that week.
