I know its way early but I am trying to establish a honeymoon budget. Originally I was thinking 3K but it seems it will be difficult to stay under that. Can anyone suggest a honeymoon (tropical/Caribbean) honeymoon destination that will keep us under 4K (ideally under 3500) for at least 6 nights, including air fare (and preferably all inclusive)? I am not looking to do a cruise (I know this would be in our budget but we have done a couple and I have never done a resort vacation). I am thinking Dominican Republic, Cancun, but I have looked at hotels and they were SO expensive!!
Thanks ladies!!!

We've been to Punta Cana (DR) and Cancun and both were fabulous. We stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Ambar which is adults only all inclusive in Punta Cana but there were some very specific things about it that would prevent us from staying there again. I've heard great things about the Iberostar, Excellence, and Secrets.
We stayed at the Royal in Cancun and it was great, all rooms have an ocean view and it was so beautiful. The food was pretty good too by all inclusive standards, it was just a little too dressed up for my FH who likes his food to be boring lol.
You can find good packages on cheapcaribbean.com or applevacations.com
We've traveled to the caribbean the last few years and we usually set a budget of 3k for 6 nights and air (in a basic room at an adults only) and we've been able to make it work so it can def be done! Good luck!

The Sandals resorts are in your budget.. we are over that because we opted for a butler suite, but if you do a concierge/room service suite you will be in budget.. Sandals Grade Antigua, and both the Grande St. Lucian and La Toc in St. Lucia are very nice resorts. The also just opened one in Grenada

FH and I went to the Excellence Riviera Cancun a couple years ago and it was under 4k for the both of us, including airfare. It was AMAZING, and honestly their standard room is nice enough to not need an upgrade!

look into groupon getaways, they have great vacation deals but they usually are for the coming six months. it's definitely something to keep on an eye on!

We had to switch our whole honeymoon around but you can definitely stay at a Sandals for under $4,000. The rooms that are out of that price range are the ones that have concierge or butler services which are really nice, but not necessary.

I would also look at cheapcarribbean.com. My cousin uses them for all of her vacations and loves that site!

We got engaged at Excellence playa mujeres & loved it. Everyone was so nice & accommodating. Place was spotless & food was really good for it being Mexico. Next time I'd bring my own ketchup though lol. It's just not the same as here. I usually always book through cheapcaribbean.com & have not had any issues.

I believe the majority of Sandals resorts would be under your budget.

I would look into DR or Mexico. Excellence in Mexico for 6 nights came under 4000 when I was looking to go for my HM. Also try Jamaica.

I booked my honeymoon there for this December. 8 day 7 nights with airfare .. all inclusive, adults only section, with a butler
$3200. That price includes airport transfer to and from the hotel, and trip insurance for any reason
I have heard nothing but good things about this resort as well

This! They have all the Caribbean destinations and hotels listed there for you and will take care of your airfare and everything.. this is how I booked my honeymoon and you are able to split up the cost
pay about 1/2 for the deposit then the rest about a month before the vacation

We used them to book our honeymoon and we had no issues. We got a great deal.
