I know its way early but I am trying to establish a honeymoon budget. Originally I was thinking 3K but it seems it will be difficult to stay under that. Can anyone suggest a honeymoon (tropical/Caribbean) honeymoon destination that will keep us under 4K (ideally under 3500) for at least 6 nights, including air fare (and preferably all inclusive)? I am not looking to do a cruise (I know this would be in our budget but we have done a couple and I have never done a resort vacation). I am thinking Dominican Republic, Cancun, but I have looked at hotels and they were SO expensive!!

For our honeymoon we went to Punta Cana, Barceló Palace Deluxe in a Premium Suite for under $3500.00 for 7 days/6 nights.
We recently returned from Riviera Maya and stayed at Iberostar Paraiso Lindo for 7 days/6 nights as well for under $2500.00
Both are all inclusives and both were great!

I'm going to Paris and London for a week for under 3,000. RT airfare came to $1,500. Hotels were approximately $1,500 as well.

No it was in playa mujeres. It's about 30 mins outside of cancan. The water wasn't AS nice as regular downtown cancun

you are poolside in your room, with your own pool entrance. some places have it a short walk from your balcony, some you can literally walk out the door & be in your own little pool that is connected to the big pool. google images.

Its basically where your room is on ground level and you have your own private patio by the back doors. When you walk out onto it the pool is right there (usually like a lazy river kind of pool that runs along the hotel) so you literally can swim right up to your room.

I don't know what the price would b in January but we just got back from the Bahamas on a Norwegian cruise.... loved it! Nicest beach I ever been too! had allot of fun that was under 4k even with all our excursions but again we just got back so we went during hurricane season! but I def recommend the Bahamas!

We're going to Paris for a little over a week; our agent got us roundtrip airfare for about $900 and a bunch of upgrades and extras at our hotel, plus all-inclusive Metro and Museum passes. All together we're paying $4k.
