honeymoon...(UPDATE 4/12/05)

Well my FH and I just figured out that we under budgeted for this whole wedding. We will not have enough money to pay for our HM. So we decided to take it next year. He has already put in for his vacation and they can not change it, so that is why we are waiting till next year. However, we both took time off already, so is there anywhere we can go that is relaxing and inexpensive?

We are keeping our honeymoon as is! I have a very close family friend who wants to give us the money and said we can pay her back after the wedding!
I hate taking money from people especially for something like this, but she insisted!

Well, FH and I were originally planning this huge HM to the Carribean with all of the special spa treatment and blah blah lbha.

Then we realized we go to Vegas and Ca for half the price...so thats where we made our HM destination. Maybe you could do something similar?

Or you could always do a long weekend to like Poconos or Jersey Bed and Breakfast. Those are just some options.

We were thinking of something like that,too. We have to sit down this weekend and go over it and see what our options are, it is just upsetting b/c we both need to get away and just relax.

my coworkers goes to Point Breeze in Indian Lake...right outside lake george...she has been going there every summer for 20 years and loves it there.

Also there is 1000 Acre Ranch in Stony Creek, Lake George

what about renting a house in the poconos, somewhere by the water? it's inexpensive and romantic

I don't know what you consider inexpensive but we are staying at an all inclusive in mexico for one week for $2600.

Well our HM orginally wasn't that much, but because we totally forgot to budget it in, we are all out of wedding money. We are not going to tap into our 'House' fund because we need every peeny in there for a house.
